2025 Youth Summer Camp

🎭🌟 This summer, join us in the swamp as Shrek The Musical is coming to Battle Creek—and we’re ready to make it ogre-the-top! In partnership with KCC’s Lifelong Learning, we’re bringing Broadway to Battle Creek once again at the Binda Performing Arts Center! After a smash-hit run on Broadway, this beloved musical—based on Oscar-winning classic film—is ready to bring laughs, love, and plenty of fun to the stage! 🏰💚

Campers will dive into the fairy tale world of theatre with a two-week workshop that covers acting, singing, dancing, and so much more! Every camper who registers for camp will be cast in the show and be part of this fantastical adventure.

Ages 10-18 

Auditions will be help before camp - Date TBD

(Campers unable to attend in-person auditions may submit a video audition and will be considered with the same fairness in casting.)

Rehearsals: July 28-August 10 (Monday-Friday) 9 AM - 5 PM

Performances: August 8 @ 7 PM

August 9 @ 2 PM & 7 PM

August 10 @ 2 PM 

(with an optional cast party to follow!)

$300 tuition

Scholarships are available and limited! They are awarded based on need and first-come-first-serve basis. Scholarships awarded will cover 50% cost of camp.

There will be a supervised lunch period each day- you may bring your own lunch or purchase something from KCC’s Bruin Bistro!
