Jack Austin is a critically acclaimed singer, performer, actor, and recording artist currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre Performance at Western Michigan University. He is a frequent performer at the Tony Award-winning venue 54 Below in New York City, where he has worked and performed alongside many notable Broadway stars from productions like Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, Back to the Future, Into the Woods, Parade, etc.
Last year, Jack starred in the premiere of the new musical Boy on Billboard in Dallas, Texas, which made its NYC debut this summer. He is also featured on the newly released cast recording album. Additionally, Jack has performed at the historic Barn Theatre in Augusta, Michigan.
Jack has gained mass exposure on the video-sharing app Tik Tok where he shares musical theatre content. He has gained over 15 million views and over
80 thousand followers on the app.
Jack’s love of music lives beyond the stage as he is also a songwriter and recording artist. His songs 'Veronica' and 'GET AWAY' have been critically acclaimed and nominated. He is a five time Josie Music Award nominee at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. This year, he has been nominated for Rising Star of the Year, Pop Vocalist of the Year, and Rock Song of the Year for his song 'GET AWAY'. His music is available on all major streaming services. Tsea is a choreographer, comedian, and writer based in Chicago. They are currently performing around Chicago at locations like The Annoyance and iO!. They perform independently and also with their improv group Backpack Full of Rats, which has an upcoming show run at The Second City later this year. They also have a novella in production called End, a reimagining of the Greek myth of Perseus.
Tsea has choreographed full-length musicals since 2010, working for Battle Creek Junior Theatre, Lakeview High School Performing Arts, What A Do Theatre, and Center Stage Theatre in Southwest Michigan. Tsea has choreographed many notable musicals like Disney’s Mary Poppins, Newsies, Godspell, and The Music Man. They have also choreographed for dance intensives, showcases, classes, and ensembles, with a style emphasis of modern, contemporary ballet, and tap. Tsea has also been the resident choreographer for the Lakeview Spartanaires in Battle Creek for nine years.
Tsea is also a classically trained musician and dancer, and has had years of Shakespearian studies, play analysis, acting for the stage, and improv and sketch writing. Tsea is thrilled to return to Unity for another amazing production. Last year’s show, Matilda, showed how much theatre can change a child, and with a lot of returning students expected, they can’t wait to help share the love of theatre once again.
Logan is currently a student at Western Michigan University in pursuit of his Bachelor's degree in Music Education. Logan has had multiple years of performance experience in both Theatrical and Choral institutes. He has participated in multiple theatre companies in the Marshall, Battle Creek, and Kalamazoo areas. Many of these places are the reason his passion for music education developed.
Logan currently sings with Western Michigan's “University Chorale” and is also a member of the Millwood Methodist Church Choir. He has also had performance experience in WMU’s Opera program, The Barn Theatre, and multiple other venues in the area. Logan has most recently had multiple internships at Kalamazoo and Portage public schools ranging from elementary to high-school music education.
This will be Logan’s 2nd year music directing for Unity Theatre! He is so excited to get back to working with these fantastic kids!
